Sala Sergi Mas will host from November 17 to January 5 an exhibition of 28 drawings and three original sculptures by Josep Maria Subirachs. In the drawings, as well as in the three sculptures, the trajectory of Subirachs' artistic work can be appreciated, from its beginnings with pieces from the 1950s, to the most recent, around the 1990s.
Since its inauguration, in the Hall it has been possible to see works by Sergi Mas himself in the exhibition with which the space was inaugurated, a retrospective of the ArtCamp since 2008 or the last Contra el mal donat, which was linked to the First Conference on Witchcraft from Andorra.
On this occasion, through the collaboration with the Pinnae Foundation, owner of the exhibited collection, we will be able to enjoy one of the most internationally prestigious contemporary sculptors, as can be seen in his multiple awards and recognitions received, as well as in the presence of his works in numerous museums and public places in cities around the world, mainly Barcelona and its most famous temple: the Sagrada Familia.
On December 7th we were able to enjoy the conference Subirachs, multifaceted artist by the doctor in art history Judit Subirachs, the artist's daughter, who took us through his career and his post-Noucentist, expressionist, abstract and neofigurative stages to finish with a reflection on the sculptor's contribution to the Passion façade of the Barcelona temple.
